What to expect
Order of Worship
At Newsong Church, we follow an order of worship that helps each person experience the richness of the gospel story from different angles. We believe these different acts of worship such as prayer, singing, reading Scripture, confession, offering, and preaching, reorient us back to God and help us see and experience God’s vision for His kingdom. This also means we include children as an integral part of our church and the worship service. We believe worshipping together is an important part of life together as a church family.
Children's Ministry
Our worship service at 9:30AM will begin with everyone together. Mid-way through the service, we then dismiss our 3-10 year old students to children’s ministry. Each child needs to be registered and checked-in prior to the service, so our volunteers can prepare and provide a safe classroom environment. Please plan to arrive ~10 minutes before the beginning of the worship service. For families with very young children who may need a quieter space, we have a separate room where a stream of the worship service is provided.
Some things to consider...
In order to be a church that has many different parts (1 Cor. 12:12) being built up into a spiritual house (1 Peter 2:5) we intentionally strive to include people who tend to fall through the cracks. We have a heart to integrate ministry to families with special needs which could mean you may experience some beautiful grace-filled messiness from time to time. We hope everyone finds a welcome home at Newsong Church.
Prayer Before and After
Since the Sunday Worship Service is part of God’s plan of initiating life-changing transformation and renewal, we strive to pray for everything leading up to, pray for everything happening in, and pray for everything flowing out of the Worship Service. If you need prayer, we have a prayer team who would love to spend time in prayer with you before or after the service.
